About this Session
no registration required - 1,600 seats available - there will also be a virtual version available after the conference
In this session, we make space for an intentional pause to contextualize and deepen your conference experience. With a structure created around how our brains make meaning, you’ll get a chance to organize what you’ve taken in over the past 12 hours, to reflect on and process, and to develop your own post-conference action plan.
As your unique takeaways and desired actions begin to emerge, you’ll gain perspective and recharge alongside each other - ready and refreshed for more to come.
Why this works::
Studies show that silence helps manage complexity, gives space for multiple voices, and allows unique perspective (vs perception alone) to emerge. It’s especially useful where groups and conditions are fast and information‐rich. Physiologically, offering people a moment of quiet or calm helps reduce the cognitive load that comes with experiences. It also normalizes the essential role of slowing down in linking thinking and meaningful action/behavioral shifts. Carving out quiet, focused time helps people really feel and connect with what they’re doing. Adding things like music or gentle movement can also make experiences more enjoyable and help the brain link the activity with positive emotions. Over time, those positive associations continue to inspire and strengthen the ability to act. What fires together, wires together.
