Finding the Venue

Main Venue Address: "Lokomotivværksteded", Otto Busses Vej 5A, Copenhagen

The main venue is a 10 minute walk from the following stations:

‍Metro
Nearest station: Havneholmen

S-Train
Nearest station: Dybbølsbro

If you arrive by car, we recommend using the car park in the shopping mall "Fisketorvet" as there will be no parking spaces available next to the venue.

Workshops

All workshops on 22 and 23 September require prior registration via the event app. This app will be published 2–3 weeks before the event and you’ll receive an email if your address is correctly entered in the ticket system.

Workshop capacity is limited and seats are not guaranteed so book as soon as possible.

If you don’t secure a seat there’s still good news: for most workshops we’ll offer an online version a few weeks after the conference. You’ll receive details via email on how and when to register.

The workshops are between 60 and 120 minutes.

Although you might not need a laptop for every workshop, we generally recommend to bring a fully charged laptop if you are going to attend a workshop.

Masterclasses

The full-day Masterclasses on 24 September require a ticket with a Masterclass included (a ticket with “+ Masterclass” in the title).  You’ll only have a seat for the Masterclass you selected in the ticket system. Due to high demand and limited capacity, we can’t accommodate later changes.

The Masterclasses run from 09:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. and we recommend bringing a laptop. Detailed information about your specific Masterclass will be sent to you about 2–3 weeks before the event.

Food can be purchased during the breaks in our food hall.

Event App

The Event App will be published 3–4 weeks prior to the event.

Changes to the Tickets

While it is not possible to get refunds for purchased tickets, you can always hand over a ticket from one person to another. You can do this yourself in the pretix ticket system, where you can also edit the invoicing address.

You can access the pretix ticketing system via the link in the order confirmation mail.

You can resend the order confirmation mail via this website:

Hotels nearby

To make planning easier, we’ve categorized nearby hotels into three groups:

  • Exclusive
  • Mid-range
  • Budget

For navigation purposes we added an approx. walking distance to the venue. However, it might be a bit subjective, as it normally takes less time than estimated by Google maps. There is also an option to use public transport.

More Exclusive / Upscale

Copenhagen Marriott Hotel

Estimated walk: ~27 min (~2.3km) – Classic waterfront hotel near Central Copenhagen and train/metro access

Copenhagen Island

Estimated walk: ~15 min (~1.8 km) – Stylish design hotel on the harbour front

Tivoli Hotel

Estimated walk: ~18 min (~1.9 km) – Long-established modern option with good transport links

Axel Guldsmeden Hotels

Estimated walk: ~30–35 min (or quick metro/bus) – Eco-friendly boutique stay in Vesterbro (closer to Central)

Standard / Mid-Range

Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen

Estimated walk: ~20–25 min (~1.8 km) – Trendy, fun hotel in Sydhavnen

Scandic Sydhavnen

Estimated walk: ~23 min (~1.9 km) – Scandinavian chain right in Sydhavnen

Budget / Cheap

MEININGER Hotel Copenhagen

Estimated walk: 30–40 min (~2.6 km), or quick train + short walk – Popular value hotel/hostel on Colbjørnsensgade in Vesterbro (big group option)

Wakeup Copenhagen, Bernstorffsgade

Estimated walk: ~35–45 min (~3 km) – Simple modern rooms within Vesterbro

Wakeup Copenhagen, Carsten Niebuhrs Gade

Estimated walk: ~35–45 min (~3 km) or much quicker via train to Dybbølsbro or Enghave Plads and a short walk

Tip for budget: There are also many Central Copenhagen budget hotels around Colbjørnsensgade / Helgolandsgade, like smaller guesthouses and hostels — these are great if you don’t mind a slightly longer walk or quick train ride.

Quick distance sense

Sydhavnen area hotels (e.g., Moxy, Scandic Sydhavnen) are closest by foot (~20–25 min).

Harbour/Central hotels (Marriott, Island, Tivoli) are a bit further away (~15–27 min walk) but very straightforward to reach.

Vesterbro/City centre budget hotels often require ~30–45 min walk or quick public transport.
