Sarah Doody is a UX Researcher, Product Designer, Founder, and Educator. She began her career by working at companies of all sizes before launching her own product design consultancy in 2012 with clients including CitiBike, WeWork, BlueApron, Dow Jones, and more.
In 2011, Sarah created the original curriculum for and taught the first General Assembly’s 12-week UX immersive program in New York City, a program that is now available in more than 27 cities worldwide and online.
Continuing with her passion for teaching and research, she noticed UX and Product professionals often struggle when it comes to designing their own careers. In 2017, she started designing frameworks to help UX and Product professionals be more intentional about their professional lives. Today, she is the founder & CEO of Career Strategy Lab and the podcast, Career Strategy Podcast, where she teaches professionals how to use research and design principles to be more intentional in their careers.
Sarah frequently speaks at conferences worldwide including Hatch Conference (Berlin), Productized (Lisbon), Industry (Cleveland), UX London, AIGA, UXLX (Lisbon), and more.
