About this Session

For a subject as complex as pensions, the digital experience simply must cut through the noise and offer immediate understanding and clear actions. PensionDanmark is responsible for the digital touchpoints of 850,000 citizens navigating their long-term financial security and health. When exploring how AI could make this experience even more seamless, the team knew the standard conversational interface was not the answer. Many of PensionDanmark’s members work in demanding, hands-on sectors like construction and transport. They are often on the move and have little inclination to type out lengthy dialogues on a financial platform. In complex, high-stakes domains, the true value of AI does not come from open-ended chat—it comes from absolute contextual relevance. Rather than building a standalone feature, the team bypassed the one-size-fits-all chat paradigm to weave AI directly into the fabric of the product experience. The result is highly personalised, hyper-relevant guidance exactly where and when the user needs it. In this session, you will gain insight into the strategic and UX design framework behind PensionDanmark's approach. You will hear about the mechanics of designing for context over conversation, and discover exactly how the team architected an interface that delivers precise financial intelligence without forcing the user to touch the keyboard.
