Research shows that we are exposed to up to 80brand and product sounds throughout a normal day. From the alarm clock in themorning and the Slack messages at work to the UI sounds in our car and thedishwasher at home.
Whether we like it or not, sound design is affecting our everyday lives andwellbeing more and more and hence the need for brands to find their own voicehas never been bigger.
Sound and music are now essential parts of a 360° product experience, asdigital products, services and platforms are becoming increasingly audible.
But how can we integrate sound in UX and design?
How can we do it strategically and intentionally in order to bridge the gapbetween function and aesthetic?
Through practical frameworks and real-world examples, we’ll demonstrate howsound can:
· Strengthen product identity through multi-sensory design
· Guide user interactions and reinforce usability
· Bridge the gapbetween function and emotion, turning products into more memorable experiences
