About this Session
This session will outline the base V2X technologies and present the most recent findings from the ongoing Danish pilot project, before exploring what role V2X will play in the future renewable energy system.
The session will have an additional focus on the user experience and not least the possible extent of the integration from simple “set-and-forget” schemes to dynamic AI-controlled algorithms balancing numerous inputs and external integrations.
Background:
Millions of electric vehicles spend most of their lifetime parked. With V2X technology, these vehicles can become a powerful energy resource, supporting buildings, communities and the power grid through active charging and discharging.
Right now, this technology is maturing in the most ambitious pilot project the World has ever seen. In and around Copenhagen, Polestar & Clever are delivering Vehicle-2-Grid, Vehicle-2-Home and emergency Power Backup in normal Danish households, with a target of commercial availability already next year.
