About this Session
Building got cheap. Anyone can spin up a working prototype before their coffee goes cold. Brilliant. Except now we're all drowning in things that run, ship, and mean absolutely nothing.
So what's actually scarce? Not building. Deciding. What's worth making at all. How you make it. How you tell a good version from one that merely works. And how you know it's any good before it reaches a real human.
I've spent fifteen years making products at Spotify, Wolt, and Pleo, and I'll say the part most people won't: the model can't do this bit for you, and it isn't going to. Judgement is the job now. I'll show you where it lives, where cheap building tempts you to skip it, and why Europe of all places is built to do it better. If we stop copying a playbook written somewhere else.
Takeaways
- The four decisions AI can't make for you: what to build, how to build it, how to judge it, and how to know it's actually good
- How to run those calls with a team when everyone can suddenly build anything
- Why Europe's "constraints" are secretly a judgement advantage, and how to stop surrendering, to the machine and to Silicon Valley's playbook
