What You'll learn

By the end of this course, you can apply the 6 HAX principles:

  1. Empathy first — Reframe an AI feature around real user intent.
  2. Automation vs. augmentation — Choose automation or augmentation, deliberately.
  3. Transparency & confidence — Calibrate trust with honest signals.
  4. Real control & editability — Make every output editable.
  5. Graceful failure — Design the recovery, not the apology.
  6. Mental model shaping — Onboard users into a working model.

And: audit one real product against the 7 Sins — and ship the redesign brief.
