About the speaker

Petter began his aviation journey at 14, inspired by his father’s flying as a PPL holder. A pivotal test flight in a Cessna 172 sparked his ambition to become a pilot. This dream transformed Petter's work ethic, and he improved his grades significantly to qualify for Sweden's prestigious government-sponsored aviation program. Despite a nerve-wracking selection process, Petter was accepted and completed the rigorous two-year course, earning a CPL, IR, and frozen ATPL at 19. Following his studies, Petter fulfilled his military service as an airport firefighter and gained hands-on experience in aviation operations. Soon after, he completed my multi-engine and MCC training and was hired as a First Officer on the Boeing 737-800 in 2002 — a remarkable feat in a post-9/11 job market. He became a Captain at 25, a Line Training Captain and Type Rating Instructor at 26, and eventually a Type Rating Examiner, amassing over 10,000 flight hours. In 2015, Petter launched his journey on social media to bring positivity and inspiration to the aviation community. His YouTube channel and social platforms now connect thousands of aviation enthusiasts and professionals worldwide. His mission is to create a global aviation hub—a welcoming space for aspiring pilots, nervous flyers, and seasoned professionals to share knowledge and support. Petter is based in Gerona, Spain, with his family, and continues to fly, teach, and inspire through both aviation and social media.
